The REP story began in a small 1,200-square-foot retail space in Longmont, Colorado, where brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty started their business with just a few pieces of equipment and stacks of bumper plates. Their goal was to recreate the excitement and customer experience of a true fitness enthusiast's paradise, selling high-quality gear they themselves would use and love.

Driven by a deep respect for those who protect our freedom and security, REP has pledged $100,000 in 2023 to three notable charities supporting military and first responder families: The First Responders Children's Foundation, Folds of Honor, and the Gary Sinise Foundation.

One of our signature product lines is the REP Rubber Hex Dumbbells, made from premium low-odor rubber with a chrome-plated, fully knurled straight handle. Unlike "ergonomic" handles with partial knurling, our full knurl provides a secure, confidence-inspiring grip at any weight.
